Adventure

JohnRoss and I had an adventure tonight, we went out to the old building near the correctional facility. Contrary to popular belief, it is not the old asylum. I did a huge Case Study for my social studies methods course senior year #1 and the original asylum burned to the ground, and the Regional Center was built on the same grounds. We have no idea what that old building is, but we do know it's haunted. Don't believe me? Then how about this, if that place could freak out one of the baddest baddasses I know, Adam Lee Dack, then there's something to the stories people have been telling. I don't believe all of them, but I believe some of them. He got all freaked out one time when we were talking about it and I said I wanted to go out there. He refused and wouldn't let me go either. After being in Iraq, maybe I can drag his out there finally, we'll see. But JohnRoss and I drove around and took a look, last time we were there we could rive up to the fence, but now it's all blocked off. There was a gravel road we had parked on last time we went investigating, but we couldn't get to it. There was a house nearby there at one time, but all that's left of the house now are an old set of cement steps that led to the cellar. It's all very creepy that no one knows what this place was. The entire property belongs to the correctional facility now, their signs are posted all over. It's really spooky and I want to go back. I wish my friends weren't all fraidy cats.

But that's half the fun! I LOVE being scared out of my mind, it's such a rush.

One of the stories I heard was that in the basement there used to be desks and typewriters and stuff, and how you can still hear the sounds of keys clicking and sometimes people have found paper randomly on the floor, even though the pages themselves are blank.

Another one is that if you go into one of the rooms on the second or third floor there's a chair. If you move the chair, it moves back to it's original place. That's so awesome, I wanna see it happen.
